Aloo Tikki Recipe | Crispy Street Style Aloo Tikki at Home

Aloo Tikki Recipe
Step 1: Prepare the Potato Mixture
Take mashed potatoes in a bowl. Add green chilies, ginger, red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala, salt, and fresh coriander leaves. Mix everything well. The mixture should be smooth and dry.
Step 2: Add Binding Agent
Now add cornflour or bread crumbs. This acts as a binding agent for the tikkis and prevents them from breaking while frying. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 3: Shape the Tikkis
Now take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into round, flat patties. Make sure the tikkis are not too thin.
Step 4: Fry the Tikkis
Heat oil in a pan. Shallow fry the tikkis over medium heat. Once one side turns golden brown, flip and fry the other side.
